WHO USES CONTINUOUS STATIONERY:
People and companies who sell on Amazon and eBay or any other platform, whether their own or another market place, where the data is downloaded from the internet, printed out once and the multiple sets can be used to ensure physical traceability through the system.
Any company that does a lot of shipping where physical traceability is important or where the different parts of the form travel with a process, whether a picking, production or other processes, such as in a retail environment, can use this type of printed matter.

WHAT ARE THEY MADE UP OF?
They can be 1, 2, 3 or 4 pages that have sprocket holes down the sides to enable it to be fed through a dot matrix printer.
CHECK LIST OF REQUIREMENTS:
- Quantity of sets required
- Number of parts per set between 1 and 4
- What colour do you want each sheet – i.e. top yellow, middle pink etc.
- Print on reverse of top copy for Terms & Conditions for instance
- How many colours 2 colour front 1 colour reverse etc.
- Delivery date required
- Do they need to be numbered or have any other variable data added?
- Do they need any sensitive data, such as pricing, blacked out on parts of the form?
DOT MATRIX PRINTERS
Printing on these types of continuous documents require a degree of impact to ensure good transfer of types information from one sheet to the next. The top sheet usually goes with the products, as this has the direct printed copy.
Generally, the printer that is used for this will be left set up with the continuous stationery in place all the time.
PERFORATIONS
Each copy can have perforations at the end of each set to make it easy to separate as well as perforations along the edges, enabling you to remove the sprocket holes. The micro perforations used make for a clean separation, leaving you with clean edges.
NCR (NO CARBON REQUIRED)
Although carbon paper is still used, it’s not practical when looking at volume. NCR was created to allow continuous NCR forms to be run through dot matrix printers speeding up the process.
